third year sculpture week 2
Dear all, thanks for such a great start to the semester. Lucy and i are really excited about working with you all
we'd like to catch up with all of you for a one on one this week on either wed or thurs...
pls get into your spaces... fill them with the thing you are looking at/thinking about. appointment sheets will be up on tues
sculpture society - there is a list on the 2nd yr notice board (first yr area) where you can add your names.
crit lists and days pls add your names to the sheets on the noticeboard
our new times are - wed 1-2 (pls sign onto this day if possible) thurs 1-2
our regular weekly 3rd yr meeting friday 11.30 in the studio
openings/exhibitions I am sloppy on the detail here but I'd suggest you take a look at the Carnegie Gallery.

artforum (12.30 friday lecture theatre) - highly recommended... Marcus Tatton s a Hobart based sculptor, furniture maker and carver.
He works with re-claimed timber from logging coops creating objects that bring into question time and the digital age. Tatton’s works have been included in Sculpture by the Sea
and he was a finalist in the 2007 Helen Lempriere Sculpture Prize.

reminder that if they want to have group screening sessions (say to watch good DVDs etc) in the first
year area to let us know and we can get it set up for you. the ethernet should be hooked up the the big screen by wed
first year sculpture space is used for non sculpture classes:
Monday 1-4pm Monday 5-8pm Friday 9-12
If you leave any artwork/equipment etc. in this space during these times it will disrupt these classes and risk being damaged /thrown out.
Outside of these times it is there for 2nd yr sculpture students
