Dear all,
Given our core meeting day this week is Friday here are some things to think about and do so as to make this week count.
start getting into the new reading list - all of these books are now in the library available on 3 day loan (see below)
reflect on your work and ideas from last semester - review your journals etc. and mark pages that resonate for you
sort out the logistics of being at uni - parking, id cards computer access, timetabling etc.
settle into your spaces - they should be ready by Wednesday lunch time - final allocation will occur on Friday
Depending on your various commitments,(that we will talk about on friday)
we are hoping to make wednesday a core day for sculpture third year crits and appointments.
Appointments will commence week 2
On Friday
attend the first Theory of Practice session in the lecture theatre at 9am
meet with Lucy and john 11.45 sculpture social area
go to art forum at 12.30
You are all welcome to attend a special session at 3pm (first year sculpture area)
to celebrate the commencement of 2010 and welcome our 8 new sculpture honours students who will give brief presentations about their work.
(I will do my best to secure a liquor license...)
