ALL WELCOME, regardless of whether you are enrolled in Painting or Sculpture!
These societies have fun, hold exhibitions of members’ work, have fun, raise funds for the studios, have fun, etc…you get the drift!
forum - highly recommended... Adam Geczy will discuss his recent solo and collaborative work, including the installations with video and music as exhibited in ‘Video logic’ (MCA, 2008), and his latest two performances, including what will take place in Belgium in May this year. He will also discuss the upcoming work ‘Transylvania’ to be exhibited at Györ Museum in Hungary next year. His collaboration with ceramicist Jan Guy at Criterion gallery will conclude the talk. Dr Adam Geczy is Senior lecturer in Sculpture, Performance and Installation at Sydney College of the Arts. His installations are exhibited regularly nationally and internationally. He is also a respected art critic and has produced four books and is working on two more.
